Hello Pioneers! I'm Aaron Sawicki, head coach at Saffin Pond. I've been involved with swimming since the beginning of my memory as a coach and/or a swimmer and have swam for a number of teams, school, club, and summer alike. I've been head coach since 2022, and was an assistant coach and swimmer the year before. Preceding that I swam as a part of the team every summer since its creation in 2013. I'm happy to be so involved in the Pioneer family and tradition and look forward to the seasons that lie ahead. I hope that you all can find a place of camaraderie, excitement and joy at the pond with us this season! -Coach Aaron
Hi everyone! I'm Coach Jocie, and this is my first year as Assistant Coach! I've been a swimmer on Saffin since its creation in 2013 and a junior coach for a number of years. I grew up with this team and couldn't imagine spending my summers any other way. Currently, I am finishing my first year as an NCAA Division II swimmer and I'm excited to bring what I've learned to the Saffin family. We strive to make our team a fun and uplifting environment for everyone to become better swimmers and teammates. I'm so excited for a great season alongside my brother, Coach Aaron!
